Enabling Accessibility Fund – Call for Proposals Open

OTTAWA: Gerald Soroka, Member of Parliament for Yellowhead, is pleased to advise that the Call for Proposals under the Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) program has been launched. The CFP funds capital projects will help increase the physical accessibility of community spaces and workspaces.

Applications will be accepted from organizations that wish to receive funding under the following component:

Mid-sized projects (open from June 4, 2021 to July 29, 2021)

This component of the EAF aims to create more opportunities for people with disabilities to use programs, services, participate in community activities or access employment opportunities.

This funding supports projects that address the following objectives:

•improve accessibility and safety for persons with disabilities in Canadian communities and workplaces, and
•increase access to programs, services or employment opportunities that focus on a holistic approach in addressing the social or labour market integration needs of persons with disabilities.

Projects must be ready to start on or after April 1, 2022 and must be completed by March 31, 2024.
